Re: Feelin' a bit small!

Argh, it's hard to tell, and to get comparisons, I'd have to revert the engine version without changing the OC version. I'll take a look at DM though, see if I can get comparisons from that. Edit: Looked at DM. DM acts the exact same way, even though I can remember jumping on certain ledges before. ...

Re: Feelin' a bit small!

Seriously? Everything feels wrong. I land from a jump and skid half a mile.

I guess, really the important thing is if you can still get to those parts of missions where you need to crouch jump.

Feelin' a bit small!

Okay, sorry for the silly title. But seriously, I am actually feeling shorter now. I dunno why, or what has happened, but for something has changed about the player physics in the engine, and in no small way (if you'll pardon the pun). It looks like the player models are smaller now. I can't tell fo...

oc_hive definitely has a ring to it.
Looks good so far, and I look forward to playing it.

Lawful good. I'm sure that was only by the skin of my teeth though, I was expecting at least one axis to be on neutral.

Also,Supahchikin, there are two axis on that test, but you only stated one. Was that because both are neutral, or did you miss one? :P

I really shouldn't call it boolean *cough* but there really isn't anything else I can call it. Well, there are the ones Neico suggested, but it sounds to me like it's gunna be a byte value. But for some reason, people seem to use int32s in places as bytes now-er-days anyway, so integer could be mor...

This may be unrelated but... Why do you have three boolean values?
And, what are they? False, True... And maybe?

If it's /REALLY/ small, then you should probably call it 1.35a. But, I would have assumed you guys would have worked this all out. :P

The guide shows upload of 240 kbps for 6 players so in theory 3 players is a 120 kbps. (And this is for just a cs:s server guide, without considering a mod that handles npcs in game). I have a 256kb up speed, and depending on the sv_maxrate I can fine tune between 4 and 5 players on at any one time...

Haaaaalp! Teamplay is confuzz me. T_T

This should be a really dumb question, if it's not, there's something wrong. I'm expecting a simple answer, or a link to another topic I haven't found yet, with a simple answer in it. But, I can deal with a long one, if it really is as complex as I'm finding it to be. Okay, so, I'm working on my oc_...

Is this when running the Source 2007 or 2009? I get similar problems with 2009, but it works fine in 2007. You might just need to copy the configuration across.

Aurrgh! I went to open hammer, and.. Well, I just can't update it to work with OC 1.35. I'm thinking of throwing the towel in on this one, seeing as it seems like it's going to be more trouble than it's worth right now. If anyone wants the possibly corrupt VMF that's half way to b4, just let me kno...

I think Cartman brings up a good point. A zip file would work much better for server installations.
I used my gaming machine to install a server edition of OC, then zipped it up to my server - I can confirm it works this way, if you install it with the right settings.
