It would be great to release the mod's source to the public to let others work on it, it hasn't been updated in FOUR YEARS.

It sucks because this truly was the best HL2 mod and it's a shame it had to die so silently and not even get a steam release

My friend is having issues with broken textures but only in certain maps like Kake and Log

Sounds like he should take it up with Steam Support, then. I'm sorry, but if he still can't get it to work, then that kinda implies that there's a bigger problem...unless he can still play other Steam games fine. Is he still able to play other Steam games? My friend gets this error, 2 days ago, it said this when he tries to join, yesterday it was fine and now he gets it again..

He's tried reinstalling, tried disabling firewall/adding it to, verifying the source sdk, restarted pc, steam, deleted clientregistry.blob. Nothing has worked..

When i join a server, my sound in ventrilo will go really quiet and it's really irritating as you have to restart vent, it also does this when the map changes which just renders the HL:S campaign co-op really irritating to have to restart vent every 2 seconds, is there a fix?
