Re: Missing textures and error models on specific map
I noticed a res file that appeared AFTER I joined the Japanese server. I tested it and it seems to make the client and server load the resources for the map. I will get a download link to the file soon ;) I'm having trouble understanding everything that's being discussed but this sounds like progre...

Re: Missing textures and error models on specific map
I got it from a Japanese server. I'll go find the textures and send them in a zip or another file if you want. EDIT: I looked at the files and it seems everything is the same from the download EDIT2: It looks like the client doesn't use the textures or even download them... Something on that Japanes...

Re: Missing textures and error models on specific map
Have you used Neico's script yet? It fixes mounting problems from Steampipe.
It's the only way to get EP2 maps or any maps that need a certain mount working without texture errors or missing models.

i did what you said Daunknownman and its working but when i use the create server it doesnt show the maps from hl2 ep1 and ep2 *including hl2 maps* Ah ok, you might have noticed that mounts don't work due to SteamPipe. It is recommended you play custom maps for now as HL2 maps will possibly get bro...

Re: OC wont Show in steam
You need to type what the error shows. On another post of yours you have this, which should help Neico sort it out: MountFilesystem(236)failed:steammountfilesystem(5176,236,0x1885f648)failed with error 5: No CS online with App 236 Ver 1 P.S Verify Source SDK Base 2007 and other games(Maybe not other...

Re: Obsidian Conflict Server *well SRCDS* wont install
Tried steamcmd version awhile back. Gets a host error when you try launch srcds. I believe Valve might not have fully completed Source 2007 srcds for steamcmd(Only 2006 is finished). Neico might help you out a bit, depending if he has time. P.S, Hosting a Listen Server is another way to play with ju...

Steamcmd is now hosting Source SDK Base 2006-07 now, so use that.

The only time I had a permission problem was due to UAC(No idea why ._.)Neico wrote:It's a local problem on your end, you need to reset the permissions on folders and files inside your games,
only had that on CSS tough

Re: Source SDK Base 2007 startup error?
Another way is manually going into the VPK file(GCFScape should work).Maestro Fénix wrote:Used the second script, but I get an "access denied" error on each VPK it tried to extract. I ran the script with admin powers, and wrote client.

Re: Source SDK Base 2007 startup error?
It seems that they fixed the Source SDK Base 2007 error. So we don't need to use steampipe beta anymore.
EDIT: I'm still gonna use Steampipe beta, the content is fixed(Thanks to Neico), I can load my fav. maps again and what is the point if you go back to non-steampipe.
