Re: MapVote Menu
Use SourceMod to make a voting system. Obsidian Conflict never had a vote map system in the mod itself.

Re: Using linux for an obsidian conflict server?
Tough luck. We (the community) do not support Linux servers and possibly never will. If you're desperate, you could use Wine but I highly recommend you DON'T because of unstability. Personally, having used Wine to run the client version of Obsidian Conflict, the amount of crashes is higher than on a...

Re: Why
What map were you loading on your listen server?
Edit: HD'd it. It's a bit weird that oc_lobby has a crash on a listen server.. Look around in the options and see if any of those are causing it.

Re: Unofficial mountfix
That's unlikely to happen. The progress is from nothing to very slow and would probably take months with the current team.DaftMink wrote:I know probably alot of people have asked this, but is their any chance the mod would be updated this month?.jfmherokiller wrote:To gain access to the vpks the mod itself has to be updated.

Re: Unofficial mountfix
The reason for symlinking is so you get the maps mounted too. You can still extract the content from the vpk into Source SDK Base 2007 but you won't get the maps unless you copy and paste them over.

Re: Unofficial mountfix
Also wanted to say thanks, I bet this fix could be used on multiple different mods and not just Obsidian Conflict. Still great to see some life being breathed back into this classic fun mod. Yea, some people told me that some mods that use mount content like Nightmare House 2 now loads all the stuf...

Re: Help!
The Obsidian Conflict community or developers cannot do anything about "croteam". It's up to the server owners to take care of him (If they still even play OC). Why are you falling for his threats? These kind of players just make up ridiculous threats to scare people into thinking they'll ...

Re: About oc_umizuri-s75
I used to crash on oc_island1_v12, it turns out I was missing content. I will take a guess that maybe you've got some files missing, maybe the map requires a certain game to be mounted?

Try steam pipline fix. and you can delete all gcf files in steamapps : P i think the steampipline fix still in somewhere place..... Is it this? I know it obviously says SteamPipe Fix, but I thought there was an easier way than this. I don't know though. You can do the less efficient way of just ext...

Re: Garrysmod Port
Interesting, the idea sounds good. That all depends on the team and if they want their content shared. I've given Shana a heads up on this post, but here's one thing: Avoid Tysn's content as much as you can.

Re: Obsidian Roadmap
Right now, Obsidian Conflict needs no game and only needs Source SDK Base 2007. If you want to play the campaigns, you will however need to perform a fix for mounting.
