It's easy, all you have to do is download GCFScape. Open the HL2.gcf stuff, and get a characters vtf file, something like Alyx.vtf.[JSC]King of the crowbar wrote:this mod will be big it has so much potential thats why i want to add a contributon by learning how to skin model people (i think thats what you call it) it would be so cool. Open the vtf with photoshop. Now color some stuff pink.Save it and put it in your Half-life 2/materials/models/Alyx
and then load your Half-life 2 game, and when you see Alyx, you'll see parts of her are pink depending on where you colored her pink.

photoshop cant open up a vtf. what you need is a vtf2tga conversion
