Hydra Npc?
Hydra Npc?
I heard something about a hydra npc in the mod. So i get the models and such from a mod i cant name and put them in the Obsidian folder and I try npc_create npc_hydra in the console. I see a giant blue thing in the air that sits there. Will the hydra be fixed in the next version or will it stay this way?
The model you proubly have dosen't have the aniamtions required fro the hydra, the AI works fine, I spawned the hydra without a model and it killed a combine and it attacked me even tho I had notarget on (That is one smart AI ) but i all i could see was a error, for best resaults with the hydra do "give npc_hydra" and noclip out of the way.

When you got shit to work with you make shit. The creator at Valve told me it would be better to just completely redo the Hydra and that if you didnt understand some extremely complex math you were pretty much hooped.
What you will see on gayrys mod will be either a completely animated worm or a twichy none functional worm.
The hydra isnt suppose to have any animations, thats why its cool. Its completely procedural so it can move around pipes and through areas without the use of any animations.
