Need some Help with this

I know i have said this alot of times before but people are not listening to the things i say!

you should have the download in languages because in different places some people don't have the "valve" folder they just have the directory as:
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods

Predator, we've already established that he installed it into the right folder. If someone isn't smart enough to find their sourcemods folder or come to the forum for help installing, I don't think I want them playing the mod, so we don't need multiple versions of the installer. I have no idea why it isn't loading though, I've always been able to fix that error by restarting steam.

I have once been in your situation, but it didn't end pretty. I hate to say this but I was forced to solve it by reinstalling half life 2 (that means uninstalling and then installing, not installing right over the exsisting half life 2).

Yes, that will tkae some ours but look at it this way. Would yourather solve it in a couple of hours of work, or in a few more days wherey ou might still be left without answers.

Are you connected to the internet? This may be a problem.

how am i able to post on this forum without out the internet smarty pants then. lol my steam doesnt run in offline mode,
it just closes steam whenever i try use it so its not the net thing.

I ment when your trying to run it, still a dumb post.

i'll have to find some time monday GMT and delete HL2 since all my games on steam were the Gold Package, not retail editions on cd/dvds.
