Typing ent_fire ENTITY will bring up many commands without search. That's how I learned pretty much everything bymyself.

question, does anyone know how to change the position of the third person camera so it isn't aiming at your head where you can't see your target?

cam_ideal_yaw 180 (whatever angle). somehting like that...

I actually found the code in the Valve Console Command List (right at the top of the C's) though the one I want to use doesn't work;
cam_idealdistright 30 put the camera off to the side where you are holding your gun in gmod, but not OC

ive used those commands in hl2dm....and when you change the camera location, the bullets dont go where you aim anymore (i dont know if this applies to every game, but if it does..the command is quite pointless)

I never play with crosshair on unless it doesn't turn off (I usually look for a way to disable it anyways)
I hate crosshairs, they usually end up making me make worse his, because I am aiming with the crosshair instead of understanding where the bullets go, as you would irl.
and the CSS style crosshair in GMOD doesn't stay centred on your screen, it floats to where your character is aiming.

\That reminds me, eventually, you should imput a crosshair that behaves like the CSS one (showing spread) but still is the 5 dots like the hl2 crosshair (I saw that on a swep in gmod ages ago) and the float crosshair would be good for third person, rather than position compensation (camera movement has delay in 3rd)

That reminds me of the crosshairs in SMOD, it was so customizable that you could have a flower-shaped crosshair that expanded when you shoot lol
