Maybe is not relationed. Anyway, nothing is 100% secure, so use this in Lan (create a local game with the VAC deactivated) until the author can confirm that is secure.

This does not get you VAC banned, you just can't have the same Steam account on the same server twice (unless you set sv_lan 1) so one player will get kicked.

And apparently if you join 2 diffrent server's 1 of your screens is gonna get kicked for a wrong connection to the vac servers.
But i doubt i got banned for it to.

i didnt go out the elevator so its unknown if the NPCS spawn but there is a way to make them spawn *using auto model cache'ers of course...*
Other wise this image has everything else blanked out and the rest should be obvious.

Lol i still don't see how you guys are gonna play with more than 2 players, i mean u can bring up more screens, but as far as i know 2 is max that can be controlled at one time. I don't see how that would work when the only control options are Keyboard/Mouse and Controller, and having multiple would probably just read the same and control as the same.

Damn, that's cool. I don't see myself doing it in the near future, but I wonder what kind of effect it has on the graphics cards. (I'm sure HL1 is no problem but for more recent games) I mean it has to render everything twice doesn't it? Sure it has a smaller resolution but who knows.

My computer isn't all that...good, so i can't play more extreme levels/games (without lag). Only a few i can do without lagging on OC, and on other games...probably not really that much of anything i can do on splitscreen without lagging lol.

I think that if you use more controllers you can. You can use any controller.

Awesome, but will probably use much cpu.

Many Source Engine Games on Consoles have Split Screen (Left4Dead, Portal 2, Zeno Clash).
I always wondered if the Split Screen Code is included in the PC Source Engine, and could be used in Sourcemods somehow.
OC with native Split Screen in 1 game instance would be a nice addition.
Since it is in 1 instance it would only need 1 Login, so there shouldnt be VAC or Steamlogon problems.

Would be amazing to have such a feature included, if it isnt too much work for the devs.

So my question:
1. Is Splitscreen Code included in the PC Version of the Source Engine?
2. How hard would it be to include it into OC?

And GPU.

In most games I've seen, graphical settings are scaled back playing split-screen. Rendertargets get smaller, graphical features get disabled(for example; L4D2 where the flashlight doesn't cast shadows during split-screen play).
