Will OC (Or what's left of it) ever be released to the public?

It would be great to release the mod's source to the public to let others work on it, it hasn't been updated in FOUR YEARS.

It sucks because this truly was the best HL2 mod and it's a shame it had to die so silently and not even get a steam release
