I want a map thing to turn off headcrabs comeing off.and brad the hydra is in the mod just no model. and the team needs this its better versons of the garg and tentacale http://mods.moddb.com/6635/half-life-2- ... downloads/ .

I'd still like a class based system added:
Stealth class: = Can hide in dark areas, unable to pick up weapons except pistol (or make all weapons weaker for stealth class)
but is able to use some buttons that other classes cant.
Soldier class: = Able to take and give more damage than the other classes can, Is able to pick up and use some
some of the bigger weapons that the others cant as well.
Combine class: = A traitor to the enemy, Is able to pass through enemy force field barriers and have an item he could use
to make enemy combine ignore him for about 5 seconds at a time.
Ninja class: = Has quick speed to be able to outrun danger, also higher jumping and only able to use
melee weapons, pistol and magnum.

I rejected reading your idea at all once I saw the word ninja in there.

Ninja one is a little far fetched, but i couldn't think of a 4th example and i thought i'd round it off
at even numbers.
Class system would give mappers more options though and it would lead to proper teamwork.
they dont have to use them it could be a toggle feature on the server, but the option would be there.

Good god no. That idea... Well... Not to sound rude or anything but what the hell? this is a coop game. If you wanna play a game with class based teams why not go and play TFC and TFC2 once its out. It pretty much has all of those classes and much more incorporated into one big mod circling around the whole class based thing. This is Co-Op and is ment for you and your friends to play throught like in normal HL2 only with some weaponary improvements, AI in MP etc etc. Its not about making a whole new mod and incorporate it into a mod already being built.

It's basicly same as adding a new weapon or a new monster though, each one adds to to gameplay, so would class system.
Only difference is class system would add to replayability as well.
I'm not too pushed on TF2, plus thats not same as playing through levels with enemy AI. So it would be rather different.
Nevermind, It was only a suggestion which i thought would increase gameplay and replay value and give more options for mappers
for greater, new, and unique gameplay.
Atleast its good to dream.
