is there going to be a story mode on this game because that would real seperate this mod form all the others!

You mean, ability to play through the HL2 singleplayer game? Yeah, that would rock.

You can already play though some singleplayer maps in co-op, but not all. There's no interface to do it, just run a server and start one of the hl2 singleplayer maps from the console. The maps could also be made better-suited to co-op by modifying them though our map cfg files, but we didn't do that ourselves.

i mean an actual story line
like there was in hl2
mutiple maps side by side all leading up to and epic ending

Oh, well, that's up to mappers if they want to make a series of levels, level transitions work fine, they just need a little more work than the ones in single player maps. I believe Skidz is writing a tutorial on some of this soon.
