Current Crash effecting many peoples computers.

There is currently a crash bug related to player models or player sequences. In all the recent dumps we have been getting it is the only crash. Me and Hyper have never come across it before so it has become very hard to debug. In this case, it is not a problem with memory as the invalid sequence is always 2047.
So I am asking everyone, when you send in crash dumps please be very specific about where and when you crashed. It is the only way we can debug the problem. You have all been a great help in finding bugs and I think if we get enough information, we can squash this bug once and for all!

the crashed happened when one guy fell and die in the floor in oc_stfu!!

in older versions, you crashed when your ragdoll fell on the water, but i never had this in 1.23, is it fixed?

If weapon are given by game_player_equip when the player has jumped, it will crash by high probability.

Are you guys aware of
this problem?
Or is that one Valve's doing?
edit: I just crashed on Broken Escape v2. There were 5 or 6 people in the server, 4 of us were in the part after the bigmomma/antlion guard fight, at that staircase with all the posion headcrabs. I was crouching my way down the first set of stairs towards a poison headcrab while at least 2 others were shooting at others. the headcrab i was going for bit me, and I turned around (still in crouch) to proceed up the stairs so I could get my hp back, and I crashed as I was turning around.

i agree every crash i had, its jump or bunny jumping related.

Precisely!
I crashed once i jumped into your weapon stash on oc_newgappi_f, and i bet you used game_player_equip there.. right?
Also alot of people crashing on oc_stfu at the part you have to fight combines, on that room... when player is teled in there i think he gets game_player_equip while hes still in air, and thats crashing.

game_player_equip is used also for weapon acquisition of oc_newgappi.
While looking for the alternative method, there was a little progress.
When it was made to spawn with the position which makes weapon a template and overlaps with a player, it crashed similarly.

On the same map Steve crash i crash when i'm on the train and with the jumping on water.

Well the main reason i dont use that game_player_equip is that crash...
On my map i just put the real weapons spawners.. More lag but its only on spawn room wich is islated from rest of the map.. And its crash free

sometimes it crash when u go in the portal in oc_stfu and sometime it just crash coz off other people doing something maybe they fell

Yea, this is fixed in 1.3. Ill lock this now.
