Real Life is keeping our dev's busy, so I can't speak for them, but I think it's a matter of done when it's done. You have to bare in mind it's a two man mod team.
But check out the map/release section's there is a nice trickle of maps and other custom content getting released here and there.

If this mod suddenly dies for no other reason than homework problems, you have my word that I will personally yell at both skidz and hyperjag about it.
Right now, they arn't far from release, but with life troubles, this may get delayed to the point where their going to have to add episode 2 content in, that and they're busy playing team fortress 2.

Oc is slowly dying, the amount of players and servers dropped immense the last 2 months and if theres no update soon... well, you can think the rest.
Thats how i see the current situation.

A problem are the Server Joining Bugs that started after a Steam Update a few Months ago.

I would like a clear "this mod is dead" message more than playing/mapping/making mapadd scripts and what else custom stuff for this mod and not knowing that the mod is about to die and then all the time i spend in making that stuff was for nothing.
