How to install OC without steam

Hi everyone,
I do not have steam installed. Yes, the half life 2 is cracked.
What I want to know is how can i get the obsidianconflict installed en run it. So far i have read you need to put it in a steamapps folder, which i do not have. i there another way of installing the OC mod?
