In your opinion, what is the best thing in obsidian?

Or , alternate thread title, what convinced you to play obsidian?
To me, the best thing of obsidian conflict are easily Tysn's incredible maps.

Besides their website, the only thing I like that Synergy has and that we don't is multi-passenger vehicles. Though I have been told that we will have them... one day.

I am not sure what got me into O.C., it's been a while now. Though I am guessing it had something to do with new content, NPCs, weapons, etc.

Everything stated above, plus the fact its aimed to bring fun and not super serious coop with no extra features, though serious coop is possible if the mapper wants it.

And yes we will have multi passenger, but in a different way that allows much more freedom and possibilities for the mappers.

I like it that way, it's not up to the mod team as much as it is up to the mapper. If I want to supper-serious co-op action, then I can make it that.
Though, like Shiftey was wanting, I would like almost full control as mapper or server admin.

You better not say that we must parent seats to vehicles... though I am working on parenting a turret to a buggy...

the fact that coop is more supported than in hlf2dm where its shoot first look at what to do later.
and its more fun here instead of only aimles sshooting.

It will be an entity you have to parent, but there is much more to it, which i don't want to give any info out on what we have planned yet.

Okay, but may I ask if we can shoot while sitting? I know it's doubtful we can, but I would like that, so people are just sitting being a target.

If you really wanted, you could disable crosshairs and/or hud and force people into iron sights. That would be a lot more then aimless shooting.

More interesting maps, more weapons and NPC than Synergy. Best HL2 Co-Op mod :)

Yes you will, and a lot more. like i said, it will be up to the mapper what kind of seat it will be.

What got me into OC originally is actually what steered a lot of people away from it: The custom player models. Oh, and the leadership team in the OC community is great <3

We need to make it clear;
The custom player models are a third-party add-on, they do not come with the mod, you, the player can install any custom player model you want, if you do not install custom player models you do not like, then you will never see them.
