I downloaded Steam and non-steam model packs. I downloaded them and i don't know where to put them in order for them to show up in the model chooser in the obsidian options menu. What do i do?

into the add-ons folder, the format is:
obsidian\add-ons\<addon name>\info.txt

Also you will have to unzip them in most cases.

It also works without info.txt.
Honest, I extracted the old playermodel packs to there with each pack its own folder as if they were addons. And I didn't give them info.txt's. They still worked so it's not necessary, I think.

the addons only get loaded if there is a info.txt
start oc with -dev and you'll see what get's loaded

copy and past one from one of the other model packs OR make a .txt file named info...nothing important is in them so add credits if you want
now I have a question about the add-on system. how would you go about making a scripted weapons addon if they have custom sounds? (they normally replace game_sounds_cs_weapons.txt I was wanting Solidjake's Custom Weapons as a addon for my wife.)

the mod doesn't read the content of the info.txt yet, it's likly to change (in worst case it'll be when i add lua into the mod)

so what i do is take go into the model pack folder, go to the notepad in it already, click on it, save as info and put it back in?
i did that and nothing happened. btw it also said "info already exists" because it seems to be already there
