Ok. Im gunna have a crack at animating. I am gunna try to make some new animations for the zombie. When i finish animating, how do i install it to obsidian? P.S If you have any tips and tricks, please share them. P.S.S IDK if this is the right section, if it isnt, sorry! D:

Don't quote me on this but I'm not sure if zombie animations can be directly imported into the mod without re-writing mod code

Pretty sure you can only replace, if you "add" animations they could only be used by mappers.

But if you replace them, then it will use them, but I think you gotta get the timing correct.

I think, I never tried making new animations.

Unfortunately since Orange Box, animations need to be compiled into the scenes.image file (if I remeber correctly), which would need to be the same as the mod. So unless you seduce the mod team with sexy animations its very difficult to distribute your work.

Yeah, cus I got no idea what Fug is talking about... last I checked you have your 3D modeling at export the models and animations as .smd files then you compile those into .mdl files.

Did you at least open the program and mess around with the model? Took me 2-3 hours for my first animation. I advise you sit at your PC for at least 3 hours before stopping.
