Need some Help with this

with the running of this mod.
it wont run.
ive got HL2 installed, fully updated.
its installed in the right place, its upto 1.1 version.
but it wont run. i get same problem when trying to use another mod i installed Combine Destiny.

nice , you play Guild wars 2 ^^
that or you just craeted random icons and named them after famous games.

yeh but it wasnt updating this morning and days ago when i tried to make this Sh!t work.
and all those games on my desktop i play. i dont recreate icons for sheer boredom.

Just joking around :p
Normally when the steam apps wont load like that is because something else on steam is running already. Make sure to totally shutdown steam and restart your comp. Then try again.

in what folder did you install it?
also try to run hl2:dm atleast once.

He must have installed it on the right folder because the mod is in his gamelist

Well it shouldn't matter it should do it auto its exe

if i remember correctly it was pointed at the wrong folder for me.

The Obsidian installer does NOT auto-detect your directory, it's statically pointed to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\.

Does anyone read directions anymore? Says right at the top of the installer.

Not that it matters cos ive got that Empires HL2 Mod installed and i was playing that this morning.

my default location is the exact place the installer said.
as ive been sat looking at the games folder in my sourcemods folder for the past 2 days wondering why its not work.
and Correct to this person below. since it seems not alot of people take notice to the screen shot in detail lol.

how am i able to post on this forum without out the internet smarty pants then. lol my steam doesnt run in offline mode,
it just closes steam whenever i try use it so its not the net thing.
