can't play campaign

when I try and create a server none of the hl2 levels are present.. also if i start the lobby map and go into the halflife2 section and hit one of the doors no text seems to pop up.. please help

I have finally figured it out!!

It took me hours (like 5 lol) but I finally figured it out.. the problem was I'm an idiot.

now one last problem.. when I play an episode 2 it gives me some message that I'm missing content and it may cause texture problems, crashes, etc. I have it mounted and yes I've restarted the game after mounting.. Is this message coming up maybe because I don't have the first episode? Everything seems to run fine so it's not a big deal, i'm just curious

What message? Like in the cosnole that it gets spammed with red? Yea that's normal.

you need ep1 in order to use ep2 and you need to have both checked in the mod options (which you probably don't according to the message)

both screens are the same...

and you need both because ep2 uses content from ep1... simple as that

fixed the links but i guess it doesn't matter you already addressed the issue lol.
