I hope this is better than current techno music.
Edit: The music is awesome. It reminds me on Valve's theme.

I got it from Unreal Championship 2. Apparently the guy who makes the music for it distributed it for free.
I've got a lot more where that came from too.
Like I said it'sally legal to have it too.

It has my vote!
Now you need some Obsidian Conflict background map to play, with a bunch of combine "machinery" moving about with a slow flyby effect to go with the music.

A background map presents some new problems, one being background maps creating MP games in which players start joining and you see them on your background map.
Its pretty funny actually.

well, I thought you do not place any info_player_<insert object here> on a background map, and only a dev camera or soemthing.

Background map still needs an info_player_start, and that will be used to insert a player.
A background map just spawns you, and instantly locks your view into a point_viewcontrol. And there you stay.
Now if by chance some other people join after that happens....

That is a pretty smart fix actually, we could set a flag on background maps that force the player to use an info_background_spawn instead which wouldn't work in a map without the flag. sv_lan would be set to 1.
