You have to get the persona add on of course but it doesn't bloat your firefox at all.

Yea I couldn't do much with the left side as that is covered by menu commands and getting the colouring wrong with the text can make it very ugly

I guess a radial gradiant coming from the logo or some blue fractals would spice it up. Nothing to fancy but now its kinda empty.

well anyways, are you really that limited when it comes to designing FF? i mean the entire menu is still white and such :/
also the font could use a bluish color too
