The graphics on sim city 4 were amazing it blew me away, but the gameplay on making a great city was hard as hell i had to keep using the money cheat!

I don't see the sense in that, a controller is a completely different way of playing an fps from a keyboard/mouse. It's like saying if you can hit a ball with a baseball bat you'll be better at playing football.

I can't say playing Halo on the xbox improved my fps gaming much.

And those blu-ray discs are also for PC, and they are a total pos and expensive. Yes they hold a lot but damn wtf do they think they are doing. Moving us over to a new media already!!!
We just got into the DVDs, finally got rid of the bloody VHS tapes and they want us to start over?

How is the 360 controller for Half-Life? I really like that controller. As much as I hate microsoft, it is perfect for console gaming. Worth buying?

definitely
use it and pinnacle game profiler to set it up. then when you laucnht the game you use whichever analog stick you assigned to the mouse control and then you click new game and bam. you should be good to go. the great thing about it too is that you can use the Xbox 360 headset which has better voice reception and voice quality. it isn't like when you play Xbox Live and those people have the mic in their goddamn throat. it's mroe of a sounds like I'm nto talking on the telephone type thing. if the server your running can support high voice quality.
