1 question

If you move your whole steam folder to a external harddrive and plug it to your computer, can you technically still use it and play games?

If the whole Registry stuff of Steam is connected to the External Drive, everything should work fine.

Yeah I tried it and the performance is shit.

USB doesnt load content fast enough for first person games.

Don't play with USB devices or they get screwed (happened me once, but I managed to recover my files).
