I have heard good things about it and am considering getting it.
Have you guys got it yet, if so, how is it?
I use my computer for:
Gaming
Developing Content (Game's SDKs)
Basic Graphics creation(GIMP)
General Web browsing.

1. It's not Vista
2. It doesn't take up all your Memory
3. It works properly with hardware and software.

that might be true about XP, but it is still reliable and it doesn't have issues with gaming like windows vista and the mac do.

I find it funny how Mac says their are all fun and Windows is boring... yet you can't even play games on Mac XD

Windows 7 is great for being Windows, it doesn't use all of your system resources like Vista does, and is not completely obsolete like XP
And who says you can't play games on a Mac? The library of games that are available for Mac is very limited, yes, but if you have a Mac, like me, it's simple to just install Windows and have it as your gaming OS, while the rest is taken care of by OSX, the OS that does not make you want to eat your own fingers
But this thread is not about Mac OSX, it's about Windows 7, and I can just say that I recommend it strongly for any Windows user out there, I've had next to no compatibility issues with it (the only one being COMODO firewall) and it does have some new and nice features. One thing I'm really missing is that you still can't scroll in windows that do not have focus, but hey, if it is Windows, it has to feel like windows too, aight?
