AvP3 The new game, any fans?

I still got the last one rebellion made. I love'd it and I love the fact they are remaking the game 10 years on. I used to love playing multi player as marines or a predator.

I think this will be the next game I buy!

I skipped L4D and L4D2, Operation Flashpoint DR almost got me, but I resisted.

luckily my pc just meets the AvP3 minimum sys req.

I have my reasons. It's a movie-game. And all the movie-games I have ever had the misfortune of playing were really, really bad.

Exactly.

Why would they want to take a perfectly good game like AVP2 and modernise it with a load of crap? Why couldn't they just keep it the way it was but have it multi platform so people on Xbox can play with PC users? 10 years is a long time.

Movie games have that reputation, but that was when like consoles or early computers did it.

Besides Goldeneye 64 was better than the movie! I mean the movie didn't have Jaws in it!

And Vasili you almost got a point, but the graphics was the one area the first game was soon outdated. And this game needs the visuals if any! the gameplay modes can't really fail in the multi and the sp was equally as good.

The more you guys talk me out of it the more I'm like FU, ima buy it!

I believe games should have both, if it has some crappy graphics, I can't really "get into" the game. Of course, a great looking game is nothing without gameplay.

Well, there are some movie based games even nowadays that are really good. Take The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces for example.

System shock has "carp grapix" and i get into it quite easily.
