Oh hey, I have the same DVD-RW drive as you. Not that it matters. :v

Specs are a little dated:
Intel Core i7 920 C0/C1 @ 2.66 GHz, 0.960V
HIS ATi Radeon HD 4870 ICEQ4+ 1 GB GDDR5 @ 350 MHz/800 MHz (Core/Effective VRAM), 0.90V
3 GB DDR3-1333 / PC3-10600 (Kingston)
WDC WD5001AALS SATA-II 500 GB
Windows 7 Ultimate x86

I underclocked and undervolted to keep the temps and power consumption low (ATi HD 5xxx users have it much easier though), but of course, I do restore the settings when gaming (though after a while it feels like I'm sitting in an oven).
Apparently, Valve can't make games beyond the number 2.
I think the only time we'll get a Source SDK code update is when it starts having purchasable hats integrated, i.e. hatconomy.

Please do not make assumptions you are not knowledgeable enough to make - that just backfires on yourself.
Tick me off, and I'll be sure to give you the golden treatment. Haven't you heard? Silence is golden.

thanks, but heres the thing
i was originally having a rig put together a while back (take it about a good 2 or 3 months)
it jumped around from one setup to another: amd/ati, nvidia/intel, whatever the setup is

finally had it set to grab one of the new AMD apu processors (and maybe a HD 6700 series card)
...until i got the call about a day or so after i finalized that, and found a much better setup, at the same price (setup i was planning almost hit $650)

AMD Phenom II X4 955
ASUS AMD 6970 DirectCUII
8GB Ram
Windows 7 64bit
1TB hard drive.

I'd take a picture but it's dark and the case is 100% black.
