It amazes me how Steam got this far with such stupid ass errors such as that. I have had my share of Steam errors, I will have to post them here for now on.

The new UI is just really buggy.

When using it, you can't use the friends list or any windows for that matter if you're in-game with the game minimized.

That's what i find most annoying. That and the TF2 uncut launcher doesn't work with it.

I don't like the beta UI mostly for it not giving me the ability to set my online status through the friends list, but instead requiring me to set it on the main window (confusing as hell). Also means I can't set online status while in a game.

lol i got the same probleme when i played a game no steam after i need restart steam for play oc or other game steam

And I thought the UNIX time bug (seen it on Vista, because Valve doesn't do Update News for Zombie Panic! Source) was bad.
