My Music For Your Maps

I've been bored lately, since my boss is a bitch and cut my hours. So I spent some time getting used to Protools midi and NI Massive/xpand2. I originally started out trying to create hip-hop beats for my friend to rap to but since it's not my favorite genre of music I wandered into the electronic and made a few songs.

My girlfriend said they sound like they would be good in a video game, so I figured I'd let you guys put them into your maps if you so desire. The first song would sound good with some striders nearby. ;)

You can use them for whatever you want just give me credit and at the very least tell me so I can check out what you used it in.

Went ahead and fixed the unnecessarily obnoxious title.

This stuff reminds me a lot of Dystopia. That music was killer.

In my third period I start Sounddesign 1 and in my fourth I start Sounddesign 2. Which means I'll get down to some music making too. I was thinking of making this kind of music because of the dark bass accompanied by fast beats and electronic synths. Those 3 together is massive. Genres like Hard Techno, Dubstep, DnB (Russian DnB mostly. Not yer pussy Pendulum), Hardcore, Hardstyle and Hard Electro.

I would classify this music as somewhat Hard Electro and DnB. You can make serious ground in the drumstep and hard electro.
Of course it is about what you want. Making music you like doesn't result in something as good as you can make when you do like it.
Great stuff! Keep em coming. :D

Need inspiration?
*BTW don't search on youtube for hard electro. Any kid that really likes Electro and wants to sound cool puts HARD in front of it.*

This is a very good example of Hard Electro:

Drumstep anyone?

Cool. These songs could fit perfectly in any night map theme. The second reminds me a bit the Killing Floor menu theme.

Continue making songs!!!

Wow. Didn't expect such good remarks. Thanks for the title change I was tired when I wrote it and probably thought it was funny or something. :/

I'll definitely post more as I make them. The next song I'm finishing right now is a House song so it probably wouldn't go good with OC but I'll post it anyway. I tend to make a lot of stuff with ambiance and then breaking or progressing into a hard distorted sound most of the time though.

Also, the songs sound like crap on laptop speakers. So if you wanna get the full effect listen on some nice speakers with subwoofers or plug in some nice headphones.

Thanks for all the comments. I'll get on making some more for you guys. :)

Mugen is a downloadable game that allows you to pretty much create your own fighting game. Whether it's making your own character, or downloading one of the thousands of submissions. (Peter Griffin, Homer Simpson, Sonic, Mario, Sailor Moon, endless possibilities.) Along with customizable level and level music.

It's fun for a while until your copy breaks for no reason and you have to start over.

You should make longer version of this song, it starts to get really good towards the end, but it ends too quickly :/
