Nice map idea
Nice map idea
I was asked by someone to share some map ideas and usualy I get lazy and paint them out in crapy paint shop even though I have pro. I decided to put some effort into one of them. I created part of a map or you could just enlarge it to fill more space. (I made it using gmod to save time and to use hlf2 graphics so the mapper can get a good idea of what im showing.) This map can be made by anyone any mapper just include my name someone in the map or some credit at least. There are multiple pictures its a bunch of walkways with many pits which could be filled with hydras or combine to make a fun run through gameplay map. (Random info: there is over 500 props into this building.) Here is a crapload of screenies cause I cant get fraps to work So i hope you get a good understanding of the 3d aspects from all these screenies. (hopefully i get a fraps done of it to help you guys) So please someone consider making a map like this or simular to this. And its all semitrical.
well this could be if you put hydras in al the pits and you cant fall of the path. Note: This is just 1 room to a map just made it to give mappers new ideas on how it could look. Oh and by the way the ceiling would have nicer lighting features to hav emore light shine through the openings hopefully.

Will you quit your obsession with Hydras already?tomgreen wrote:well this could be if you put hydras in al the pits and you cant fall of the path. Currently they are so lame. When I first heard about the Hydra I pictured a HUGE snake able to navigate entire levels in chase. Then I thought about it and realized is the Hydra just a huge snake or does it have a base like the tentical. So the Hydra makes sense staying in one place, but I would have liked it better if it could at least navigate pipes.
