The style, how you battle it, is totally different.
In ACFA you need to go up close an personal, and here you use long range attacks with... no, no spoilers here at this time, maybe later.

Besides you can (and need to) shoot down incoming missiles from the Answerer. If the Engine dont stab me for it, there could be up to 80 missiles in one wave.
On the other side iam still thinking about, how you can protect yourselft from the Kojima lasers and the Assault Armor

wich is definitly overpowered.

uuh doesnt the awnserer in AFCA have anti long range weapon shield?
does that mean in this one it didnt get installed?

it doesnt even come close to an orbital cannon. or is it the other way around?
anyway its more like a floating battlestation with over 1000 weapons in each catagory from lazers to missletubes and even 1 gaint emp wave field.(it was a big pain in the behind to defeat in ACFA.)

That "gunship" seems more like a frigate or a destroyer to me.....11 different weapons and all that. Looks inpressive, I'd like to see how it plays with a full group of people. Would "independent weapon systems" happen to mean that it could aim at different people with certain weapons but not attack one person with all of them?

I bet it does. Or it could mean that every ship has its own type of weapon system. But that doesn't make sense since they are already different from each other. I think it's what you said.

And yes, "Independent" means, it can target mutiple targets at one time.
