oc_officeoffensive - Teamplay oriented puzzles and goals

Heya OC players, first post here, loving the mod. Shame it doesn't get more public attention though...

Regardless, I have been working on a map for Obsidian. It focuses around teamplay type puzzles and requires a minimum of probably 3 people to be fun. I have to say, the whole crane thing in oc_docks inspired it :P

Anyway, that aside, here are a few screenies (texturing isn't final, I am still in the "dev texture" stages and have only textured a few parts.)

I'm sure the screenshots probably don't speak for much, but my intention is to create an adventure game type experience (lots of teamplay puzzles and small goals, plus "side quests," if you will.) My other plan is to create an environment that encourages the player to explore and find goodies; there are many extra rooms that aren't crucial, but if found and explored, will yield items and such.

I'll be updating this thread with new screenies and info as they arise.

Yeah, it is certainly unforgivingly difficult, but that sort of thing isn't quite what I am shooting for :D

I'm just saying that the whole teamplay oriented crane thing inspired me in that I want to make a map that actually incorporates teamplay elements and isn't simply run and gun.

Hmmm, not sure about these poles.

You should make them thinner for a best "bridge" feeling.

Sounds right. Lowered them from 32 wide to 16. Still 8 units thick, however. I want them to fit along the border of the bridge nicely.
