Xoom3rs RAGE maps

Umm yeah, a small co-op campaign I thought would be fun creating..
I'm planning to stretch the campaign onto 4 different maps, which each map will include different types of combat.

Here is a WIP video of the 1st chapter of my campaign:
(as you will see it's not finished, after the helicopter there will be a big door which leading to another area).

one of the maps key features:

>> All weapon pickups are infinite, when a player picks up a weapon, it respawns immediately.

Nice video and a solid piece of mapping so far.

Apart from the odd rock outside I have nothing to say, I saw npc's in and working as they should, I saw wall decals and everything looks like you know what you doing.

What I will say is this don't forget its co-op if your looking to beef up the action so every one gets more of the action, I can already see a couple of potential places for spice.

In the combine room you could also add a couple of combine on to the roof ontop of the square hole, and maybe once all inside the room and on the roof are dead you could add a few repelling into the room down to the floor level your at.

As for the helicopter, you could give it a drop bomb sequence next two the two ammo rooms, and also byfar the best feature enable the helicopter to 'carpet bomb the area' using the helicopters Bullrush behaviour setting.

Can't wait for more, quality maps are always a welcome addition to co-op mods, so the more the merrier!

Oh and I almost forgot, If this is a combine themed map, I thought I'd just let you know that hunters will work with out the client needing ep2.

Whats else can I say for the series?

Mines or even droped/deployed from,
Apc's,
Gunships,
Dropships,
Striders,
combine elite,
HACKS!

Lol getting carried aweh :wink:

Looks great, hopefully this will come out as a well polished map.

Also if there's sand, why not add some antlions? lol

Well, because fighting with the helicopter is a pain in the butt, if I'll add antlions it would be too hard and not fun.
Don't worry.. I got good plans about the sand area.

I've Finished the map.. Though I don't know which entities I need to place..
I need to place info_player_start or info_player_deathmatch for OC maps?
