Hey everyone, im starting to learn how to model and like to see everyones opinion on it, I been using basic commands as im still a freshman to 3D Max.
If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be gladly helpful

I can´t say much because i´m a trainee too, but good job.
Try doing the drum of the revolver and making more "curved" the edges.

Yea im planning on doing the drum last cause I think thats the most hardest, and I still have no idea how im going to merge them all together

Don't do box modeling, create a plane and extrude.

I could recommend you best tutorial i ever seen called "Model, UV, and Texture a Mac-10 Submachine Gun" by Ben Tate.
It's retail though, so see if you can find it.
But this really helpful tutorial, i've learned alot of things from it, and it covers almost everything.
