Re: The Angel Beats! Project [Possible Spoilers]
Sweet idea, originally I was planning to try doing this but in the end laziness got a hold of me
Keep up the terrific job, and even if it gets to the point where npcs can't fit in (don't think so) , there's always mapadds lol
Cafeteria needs super hot curry dispenser that lights you on fire

Cheers to W0rf0x for some minor brush editing, lighting, and green accurate furniture.
Re: The Angel Beats! Project [Possible Spoilers]
I see in the picture of the show, that the floor has some reflectivity.
Something I just came up with:
You can use this, it will work on any texture. Basically, you just create a small thin brush, tie it to a func_reflective_glass and give the top face this texture I just made. Reflective stuff just looks cool and "environment maps" in Source are crap.
Not sure why I just made this, I suppose I am just bored, tired, trying to be helpful and felt like doing something before I went to bed.

The floor is already reflective though, just no cubemaps are build in the picsGary wrote:I see in the picture of the show, that the floor has some reflectivity.

The current floor reflects enviroment maps, aka cubemaps. His idea could work in making the floor look even better.W0rf0x wrote:The floor is already reflective though, just no cubemaps are build in the picsGary wrote:I see in the picture of the show, that the floor has some reflectivity.

Re: The Angel Beats! Project [Possible Spoilers]
It obvious that you can make a map only in 5 minutes, but it will a crap. But they (probably because "x" persons are working on it) in only 3 days? are making a good quality map.Patchouli wrote:rushing isnt nice at modding.. nvm which game^^Maestro Fénix wrote:You are making a very fast progress, very well the axe.

Re: The Angel Beats! Project [Possible Spoilers]
kay some people can make awesome mods in a short time (ima fuckin fast at texture modding in gta^^)
Re: The Angel Beats! Project [Possible Spoilers]
A lot better, cubemaps/enviroment maps only reflect static objects and also has some werid effects, the method I perposed will give you real high qaulity reflections from any camera angle.Nirrti wrote:The current floor reflects enviroment maps, aka cubemaps.
