I need Useable Mounted Gun...

i know about this but if i spawn it into map or through vmf suite , it doesn't work

Learning is doing. You will have to make it yourself but I bet people will answer your questions when it comes to small mistakes.

I think you misunderstand.

I'm saying that its not physically possible. It can't be done. Unless you make it in hammer, but it still cannot be added to a map with entspy vmf suite or whatever else program.

Unless W0rf0x was refering to me, and perhaps it can be done. idk, Ive never made a mounted gun before :?

Okay I just made a mounted gun by simply following the tutorial's instructions and it worked in OC perfectly. It only took me about 10 minutes to set it up and another 2-3 to fix the oddly slow firing rate, so I don't know what the problem is on your end

The problem is he wants to add a mounted gun to an exsisting map with some vmfsuite using hammer, from what I can understand.

For example like adding stuff in a modify.txt, the only problem is you cant use a func_tank as its a brush based entity, or atleast I think you cant.

There is a pack of Half-Life 2 related prefabs floating around, if someone could find it it most likely has that. It has the ravenholm traps so no reason to disclude the mounted gun. I'm afraid it only works under the Episode 1 (Source 2006) engine because of different classnames.
