So, here is a paper texture I fluked (as I don't know what the hell I'm doing when it comes to making textures, I litterally guess).

The wooden cross sections are brushes and you can see the outer inner edges create lighting problems, and the whole thing is quite exspensive.
The paper texture was a coloured texture as a (I think) a vector layer onto a raster background. 1024x1024 72,000 pixels 8bit RGB. All saved as a normal map with alpha.
