not exactly sure how stuff works but i was playing OC and i found a server that had this cool looking map oc_island2_v1, kinda like paysan or harvest, but unfotunately most of the text n stuff in there was russian, any chance to get translations for it?

Probably it needs decompile the map and compile it to translate to english. Try to contact with the author in the OC Map Database.
