Replacing HL2 things= Replacing OC things?

I'm just making sure of something but I wanna try Fake Factory's cinematic mod for Half Life 2 but I just came up with the question: will this replace things in Obsidian Conflict and other Source mods?

No. Only time you replace anything in Obsidian Conflict or any other game/mod is if you put the files in their respective folders. Putting stuff in HL2 will only change HL2, putting stuff in Episode 2 will only change Episode 2.
