Just when you thought 100 exclusive yet golden wrenches weren’t enough: Valve announces the first day of the Engineer Update. The day as finally come for the Engineer to get his fair share of unlockable items!

First off, Valve is giving out 100 random golden wrenches that technically have no actual difference from the original wrench. Only difference is that it turns players to solid gold upon death by this wrench. All wrenches have been founded and collected by new owners, thus for the Engineer update is due to release. Also check out the achievements.

Well, after I crafted every item I have away, up until I got one hat for the soldier (a class I never play), I'd say it sucks.

The remote control thing seems cool though. You can finally take out those pesky medics first, and then it really has unlimited range, since you're aiming for it. The shield and increased firing rate isn't bad either. I think they kinda overpowered it, because apparently the controller's only downside is that your sentry is disabled for like 3 seconds when you switch to it.

I like The Wrangler, you could use it to engage targets that are out of the Sentry's line of site.

A single thing that did make me nervous about this update was those sonavabitches 'GOLDEN WRENCHES'.

Maybe I get some PLATINUM WRENCHES?Maybe.

I always loved the Engineer so I guess it will be a good update,and now I own TF2 so I can really enjoy it.

Oh hey there is a guitar. Btw for every craft action or every metal you make or use (i'm not sure, different people say different things) you get 0.01% increase in the chance of getting the wrench in a craft.

So with my amount of luck I would need at least 70%. So I would have to craft 140000 weapons together. frak yea...

Btw some guy with 66 hours of playtime got a wrench. That shit pisses me off.

Now I have even less stuff which I doubt I'll ever get it back either because I don't play that often.

Valve keeps on bringing up their lies. 1st the incident with the cake, then saying wrench drops are random, and that there was no limit per day. Now there's the fact that some dude got the 100th wrench without a message ever popping up.

What gives?
