Mounting ep1 and 2

Hi,

I'm trying to mount episode 1 and 2 on my server but can't get it to work. I've added blank episodic and ep2 files to my mounts folder. I've extracted the gcfs to where they should be. But I can't load ep1 or 2 maps.

Am I missing something? Shouldn't changelevel ep1_citadel_00 work fine?

Also, when I open up the game and type map ep1_citadel_00 it can't find that either, and yes episode 1 is mounted.

Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

You best start the maps through oc_lobby.

But if you want to start them using console for whatever reason, type

sv_ep1searchpath 1
or
sv_ep2searchpath 1

Before trying to change maps.

Searchpath worked.

The reason I don't use the lobby is that the doors don't break. Have you ever heard of that issue?

they break, they just have enaugh hp to keep you busy for a while, because: the more people want that map the faster it'll break, which builds some kind of vote system...

if you are the serverhost you can also just use noclip or:

sv_cheats 1
ent_fire !picker break
sv_cheats 0

Ah I see. I only play with one other person, or a second occasionally, so I guess I've just always assumed it's not going to break and given up too quickly. I'll try using the ent_fire way. Thanks for that.
