Hello, I'm running an obsidian conflict server inside a vmware machine with a minimalistic Windows xp install. Whenever I connect to it after a few minutes it drops me from teh server with the message to the client "a connection to the steam vac servers could not be made", and in the servers console "Dropped 'username' from server (No Steam logon)". Whenever I run the server outside the virtual machine it doesn't do that. I've tried runnin the server in -insecure mode but it still drops me with the same vac message which is rahter confusing since the server isn't running in VAC secure mode.
Why could this be happenning?
"a connection to the steam vac servers could not be made"
Re: "a connection to the steam vac servers could not be made
update: Never mind, turns out there is some issue with using bridge mode networking with my windows server that has routing enabled. I changed to using virtual network adapters on my windows server so that my vm could connnect to the net that way and now it doesnt drop me from the server anymore.
