Let me know if you find out how to solve this. I'm having the exact same problem with my new map. If I cordon off enough rooms then buildcubemaps magically starts working, but there's no particular entity or brush getting cordoned off that makes the cubemaps work. It's really frustrating cause I got a lot of shiny stuff in my map and it all looks like crap if cubemaps won't build. Not to mention I have a "wander through the darkness with a flashlight" area that's somewhat ruined by bright shiny props everywhere reflecting the skybox.Oniyuri wrote:W0rf0x wrote:Oniyuri wrote:So the problem isn't oc_tantrum? That's great to hear! Now I only have to work out why worfox's cubemaps turned out ultra bright in tantrum when playing in HDR... I play in HDR and it works fine! Why?Hyperjag3 wrote:If your computer is overheating, that is one of the main causes of corrupted video ram, which would produce what you are seeing. Get better cooling .

Can't load bsppack.dll
Could this be the cause of worfox not having proper cubemaps? It can't load bsppack.dll. Sounds like it's vital when it comes to packing files in the .bsp.
Are there other people out there having cubemaps that look like worfox's?
After doing some additional testing I still don't know the cause of this error but I've narrowed it down some. It's computer-dependent and not map-dependent. That is, the error is not a bug in the map but a bug with your machine. All my maps which I can't buildcubemaps in anymore cause other people no problem when they try to buildcubemaps on their machines in the same maps. So I suppose even if you can't buildcubemaps due to this error, maybe you can get one of you friends to do it.Singe wrote:Oniyuri wrote:W0rf0x wrote:Oniyuri wrote:So the problem isn't oc_tantrum?
