Well from a scripting and mapping point of view, OC is as about as versatile as a mod can be for anyone wanting to edit something. Hopefully the gap between 1.3 and 1.4 (Dare I mention it), won't be so quiet if the community gets to grips with the scripts and the mapping.
I got a few more maps to push out the door, I'd like to convert maybe a decent sp map with scripts and some cs maps, may even venture into the world of dod:s. I'd like to write a players guide, but after that I'm thinking of making some tutorials/ prefabs.
I'm thinking for anyone who is into mapping to release some npc prefabs,
I may not be great with brush work, but I've managed to just about have ago with most npcs. Maybe convert some of those cs mappers

Some tests I did to ensure HL2 is still working with the ep2 engine, works very well.
