Why not take a little more time and make it rebels vs combine? That would be much more enjoyable.
Also if the combine die, will they respawn?
Will players be able to make their own maps like this?
So is this mod expanding beyond coop? Or is this just a nice little feature?

Its Rebel vs Rebel, but there are two skins, red and blue.
If the combine die they do respawn, and they will follow you when you press use on them.
Yes players can make maps like this.
The mod is expanding beyond coop yes.

Looks great, but due to all the hdr in the sky the air looks really damp.
Isn't the desert supposed to be really dry?

These screenshots, are very nice, keeps us prepared for the next update, that and the mounting of course, theres nothing to talk unless theres no mounting, espically when it is involving the half life 2 episode 1 content! haha i took it too far with that oh well only read it once and you will get over it

I agree but before I used the HDR the map looked very cold, colors in HL2 always seem to cold. Like the HL2 Story.
I havnt looked into color correction yet.

I'm not really a fan of CTF, but this looks quite fun.

C17 is a cold place. I'd like to learn about colour correction too. Does it work and how does it work (how do I use it)? It needs dx9, right?

Making a custom skin for the combines (or anything else) in your map is always nice and it's easy as well, as long as you know how to do.
For example I have a desert style combine in my map. Anyone who can get their hands on the model may use it as they wish.

personally I think the problem with the lighting is because of the skyboxes. They just make me feel like I'm still in Eastern Europe somewheres.
However were you to BLUEIFY (c) the skybox used in the mpa it would give it more fo a sahara look and feel.
especially since from what I understand the reason Deserts are so hot is the lack of clouds. you make that sky a DEEP BRIGHT blue, it'll feel more warm.
