how many MB are most of the maps?
just wondering. nothing important.

5 to 15 mb is decent

20 is extreme

above 20 better be good

20 mb? say good bye to those dayz.
A 20 mb map for hl1 was considered extreme for me back in 2000, Its 2007.

And I've been there and struggled with 56k analouge modems and 64k digital isdn. ok I know it's easy for me to say, now I have ADSL supposed to be 8 mb, but I live in the wilderness so I settle for 4mb.

Embrace the future! as file sizes get bigger so does the thickness of your fibre optics or copperwire outside your house!

I used to wait half an hour for a 5 mb download. Yesterday I downloaded, Missing Information (250 mb) in that time.
