Weapon Scripts - Half-Life 2 SMOD compatibility?

When I first saw the weapon scripting stuff in OC, it did remind me a lot of SMOD. Is the weapon scripting compatible with SMOD? What I want to do is port some or all of the custom SMOD weapons to OC.

While the two mods weapon scripts share some common properties. They also differ considerably.

So no its not a simple case of copying them all. You need to study them both to get an idea of what weapons can and cant be converted.

SMOD has a more complex script loadout for 30 special weapons while OC has a more simple script loadout for unlimited weapons (At least that's how I remember the difference between the 2 lol)

You could do simple bullet weapon ports :D
