Once a thread is dead, it's pretty much only necessary to bump it if you've contain useful information to contribute to it, that may start an entire conversation all over again for it, or if you're the creator of that thread with an update on the discussion.

No the Eva ragdoll,it was originally a custom player model for quake 3.

No,in q3 it was normal sized.

No the guy who made this was going for the Evas natural size so you can make epic battles like EVA VS Gunship or EVA VS Strider.

Also heres is a pic of the EVA player model with Blue team skin in Q3:

ooh wel any eva fan would love to make such a thing after all it would be fun to see the eva completly rip apart a gun ship or a strider.
