Problem with helicopter and bullrushbehavior

Problem with helicopter and bullrushbehavior

I enabled the bullrushbehavior on the helicopter because i like how he drops bombs on his own mind and how he drops a lot of bombs in 3 directions at a time, but after a while he stops flying and stays at a point and ignores everything, you can shoot him down and he doesnt do anything to prevent you from doing it.

Is there something i must consider when using bullrushbehavior on helicopters? I placed path_tracks and info_node_airs.

Probably another multiplayer glitch.

I wish Valve cleaned up everything including NPCs for the MP code :?

valve is too busy adding detailed textures and shadow effects to giant barrel thirsty telekinetic slugs to fix shit for co-op mods.

I think i might have a solution.

Try adding an ai_relationship with a subject of npc_helicopter a target of !player and a disposition of "Hate".

See if that helps at all.

Death, Target of !player will frak up as Players are hated anyway unless set otherwise. However it usually locks onto the first player it sees, when they die, they sometimes frak up. Like the ep1 strider bug.

actually, no, because I'm using it in my map and i used to have a similar problem. having !player in there causes the helicpoter to search for a player.

I'm talking about afters its found a player, Tis just easier to have it on a track rather than airnodes, that way it'll go where you want and will focus on shooting the nearest enemy.

Could try !player* with (*) being the wild card!

Didnt work, its annoying, best things in source dont work properly :evil:
It happens totaly random, he just stands at one point untill he gets killed and continues doing the last action, if he was dropping bombs, he continues dropping bombs at one point, if he was shooting, he just continues shooting into random directions.
