Radar in OC?

Need Help? The Day isnt going so well on the Mapping front?

Radar in OC?

Ok, I know how to make the car have the radar and make an object able to be tracked by it, but only in EP2...

I have EP2 mounted in OC, but I can't see or spawn the car, but I still can spawn "info_radar_target", but it has no use without the vehicle...

I was wondering if there's a way to fix this.

it works exactly the same way in oc as in ep2, also make sure you use prop_vehicle_jeep_episodic instead of the normal one

i could give you my testmap's vmf it has those radar things (also a little experemental thing on the gnome i was working on :P)

Do you have ep2 content mounted or accessible in Hammer?

When in hammer (OC), and spawn a jeep, then go to change the model, its not there, I will try again later, but it may just be a glitch, sometimes the model selector is messed up.

And yes, it's mounted.

Mounting a game in Obsidian Conflict game is different from mounting it in Hammer. You need to add ep2 to your gameinfo.

It is... I can make maps for EP2, EP1, HL2, OC, and I think portal, never tried portal though... not that it madders.

Unless, I got to edit the game info more, do I have to?

Look in your model browser in Hammer. At the top there should be a tab that says "All Mods". It should have the option for every game you mounted in it. If it doesn't you need to configure it in the gameinfo.

No, I mean when you click on it, it should say ep2, ep1, hl2, etc. If it doesn't then you don't have that games content in Hammer.

Ex.

Also, if you didn't notice already, for a few hours(as long as I know) the wiki has been down. I just get the Error:

"Connection Interrupted

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again."

Ah, Why don't you transfer it to this server, it seems well maintained and I have only once got an error from it.

You should be able to easily transfer the wiki with the database over to this server... though it would have to come back up first...

And do you have Ep2 content in hammer?

Keep in mind if you don't have the svn (which you most likely don't), you will need to make the appropriate changes wherever you see "svn"

That's the download link to the obsidian sdk installer. It works but if you have a problem just tell me and I'll help you fix it.
